1. Tuscany, Italy


Although this region in central Italy is best known as the home of Florence, it's also one of the best places in the country for stargazing. Especially in southern Tuscany, where there is almost no light pollution, there are only starry skies.


2. Tenerife, Spain


Tenerife is known for its vibrant nightlife. At the same time, it is also a great place to visit for stargazing, as its sky often sparkles like the night in a busy modern city. One of the largest mountains in Tenerife, Montaña de Guajara is a gathering place for astronomers.


3. Galloway Forest Park, Scotland, UK
